We were delighted to welcome almost 40 customers and stockists from across the UK and Ireland mid-June for a customer open day in Much Wenlock. 

 

After being welcomed with bacon sandwiches from a local food producer, the day included a number of new product launches, upgrades to existing ranges and the unveiling of our second site just down the road from our original plant.

Visitors were also encouraged to ‘have a go’ at plastering and got hands on with new products Hemp Binder and Fibrelime.

Hemp Lime Binder is for making zero carbon hempcrete.  Used to insulate existing walls or for building from new around a timber structure.

Mixed with hemp shiv, Lime Green’s Hemp Lime Binder makes a warm, breathable and low-carbon mix that can be cast between shutters or sprayed using specialist machines.

Fibrelime as the name suggests is made to an historic recipe, using fat lime, chalk and fibres to give a great deal of flexibility in a very soft plastering and rendering mortar.

A number of products upgrades were also announced including Roman Stucco, and Warmshell Meshcoat which replaces the Warmshell EWI system’s Prepbond.
